Baby Ultrasound Frequently Asked Questions
A baby ultrasound is a prenatal ultrasound for an entertainment keepsake and to provide a positive bonding experience for mother, family members, and friends with the unborn child.
A baby ultrasound is a voluntary service that is not covered by health insurance that gives information such as number of babies, placental location, position of the baby, and heartbeat confirmation.
This entertainment ultrasound session will not provide any assumptions, diagnosis, or medical input of any kind and is not intended to take the place of a medical ultrasound or any other medical procedure(s) recommended by your physician or health care provider.
Absolutely not. Our baby ultrasounds do not look for abnormalities and it is important to be seen by a doctor to get a diagnostic ultrasound for pregnancy.

We recommend that women must already be receiving treatment from a healthcare provider for prenatal care. Please note, at no time is the baby ultrasound to be used in place of a complete diagnostic-medical ultrasound with your personal physician.
A baby ultrasound experience focuses on bonding with your unborn baby and celebrating the miracle of motherhood. We strive to provide a friendly, welcoming, relaxed environment that will leave you with great memories. We schedule all our appointments adequate to provide a lengthy, unhurried session, as well as allowing for the baby to change position for great images.
Routine scanning of all pregnancies is normal throughout the United States. 3D/4D scanning is the same type and intensity of ultrasound that is utilized with conventional 2D scanning done at your doctor’s office. 3D, 4D, 5D Ultrasounds use sound waves like radar to look inside a body. A probe placed on the body emits sound waves into the body, listens for the return echo and generates an image.
Ultrasound has been used to see into the womb for over 35 years. No adverse effects have been found. We utilize the same standardized medical setting safety for our elective ultrasounds.
Usually, if you follow our tips and tricks and you are at the ideal time in your pregnancy, we can get great pictures and video!
We will do everything in our power to obtain the best possible images of your baby. If the quality of the picture is affected by baby’s position, we can employ several methods to encourage movement. If we run short on time, we can reschedule you for a second session for free.
Every baby scans differently, depending on its gestational age, position, amount of fluid, as well as the mother’s condition and body type. We will make every effort to obtain the best possible images of whatever parts of the baby that can be seen. However, there are some other factors that can be beyond our control, but a great session can still happen.
It is extremely important that you try to drink as much water as possible before your ultrasound appointment. This can increase the amount of amniotic fluid around the baby, which can improve picture quality.
Eat a light meal 45 minutes before your appointment to get baby moving. You can also have a cold drink or eat something sweet. Amniotic fluid is important for good 3D-4D images. The best way to improve your amniotic fluid level is by drinking lots of water, so be sure to stay hydrated a few days or a week before your ultrasound appointment. Come in with a full bladder to get the best pictures of your baby. Drink 4 bottles of water 45 minutes before your appointment. Not filling your bladder may affect the quality of your images.
Sometimes a baby is shy or sleeping and does not want to show us their face or gender. If this happens, we will end your ultrasound early and offer you to come back for a rescan at no additional charge. We are usually successful at being able to get great pictures the second time around, although some babies never cooperate for 3D, 4D, 5D Ultrasound, and we make no guarantee that they will.
We accept all credit/debit cards and cash.
